What is Southern California H&I

Southern California Hospitals and Institutions Intergroup is comprised of delegates from the Hospital and Institution committees and liaisons from General Service Areas within Southern California. Southern California Hospitals and Institutions Intergroup also liaisons with AA Contact on Release, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and the Northern California Hospitals and Institutions Intergroup. Our sole purpose is to establish a stronger unity between hospital and institutions committees and these various entities by the exchange of our experience, strength and hope, that we may be better able to carry out our primary purpose of carrying the A.A. message to those confined in hospitals, jails and prisons. This committee is not a governing body and has no authority to make rules that would affect any individual Hospital and Institutional Committees that are members.
